Hello Countryside Child Care Families. We have made it to December! We will continue our eye opportunity of learning, exploring and engaging with others as a group, meeting new friends and sharing. Being hands on with fun activities whether its sensory, engineering, math, or creative writing. Taking interest in activities with paint, gluing, cutting and coloring.
Below is a few reminders and special dates to take into consideration to refresh on what we do month to month and expectations Countryside entails. All parents will continue to drop kids off in the front foyer.
- Thursday December 8th is Pizza Day!
- Monday, December 19th HOLIDAY Explosion Day! (Wear all your holiday gear)
- Tuesday, December 20th please wear some Festive socks!
- Wednesdays, December 21st please wear the color Red
- Thursday, December 22nd will be Polar Express please have your child(ren)wear there Pjs as we will enjoy some choc milk, special treats and a movie
- Friday, December 23rd please bring in your dancing shoes as we will be listening to some Holiday music throughout the day enjoying a lot of fun holiday activities.
- If your child will be at Countryside later than 9:00AM please give us a call and let us know by 9:00AM.
- Please, have your child in by 9:30 AM. It begins our structured daily routine as we begin circle time and engage with one another as well as learn during our project and portfolio work.The themes for this
- The themes for this month are holidays around the world, hibernation, England and forest animals. The portfolio work consists of the number 4, letters JKL, the color red, the skill is big/ small and the shape of a star. The nursery rhyme is I’m a little teapot!
