September Newsletter

Hello to all Countryside Child Care families and a big welcome back to our families that took the summer off. We hope you enjoyed your summer and are ready for the new school year. As the school year approaches I want to remind all families to please call if your child will be absent or late to school.  Also, if your child will not be here one day or going on vacation please let us know ahead of time, if possible, so we can plan accordingly.

Reminders:

-Monday September 2nd we will be CLOSED due to Labor Day.  Enjoy your long weekend!

-Wednesday September 11th is PJ day so dress your kids in the appropriate attire for our favorite time of the month!

-Tuesday September 17th we will be wearing yellow for our color of the month.

-We do go outside daily, so if you would like to bring in bug spray, please do so.

-Please leave any bags at home as we have a place to put all belongings brought into the center.

-If any ointments, sprays, wipes, etc… are brought in, please bring them to Amanda as all topicals have to be signed/authorized before are able to apply it to your child.

Miss Naomi and Miss Courtney will be enjoying their time with all their babies as well as welcoming our new babies that will be starting this month. They are continuing their bonds with the little ones as well as enjoying daily stroller rides.  It is very important that all the baby’s belongings are labeled such as clothes, blankets, binky’s, containers, food, formula, bottles, etc.

Happy 1st Birthday to Jonah on the 25th!

Miss Ashlee, Miss Jess and Miss Julee are having fun planning projects for back to school. The themes are All about me, apples, transportation and Book Craft! They will be doing a lots of group projects and discussions within this month, they will be measuring, coloring, painting, gluing, bingo dob, engineering etc. This month they will be beginning with the letter’s ABC, the number 1, the color is yellow, the shape is a rectangle and the nursery rhyme is Hey, Diddle, Diddle.

Happy Birthday to Logan on the 7th and Harry on the 25th!

Miss Steph and Miss Sam have been having fun planning and implementing some creative and fun projects for this month’s themes such as: 5 senses, Massachusetts, nutrition, Johnny apple seed and fall. These projects will consist of painting, group discussions, sorting, water painting, coloring, gluing, healthy snacks, math and literature. This month portfolio work will consist of letters ABC, the number 1, the color is yellow, shape is a rectangle and the skill is tracing.

Happy Birthday to Isla on the 23rd and Wyatt on the 29th
