Marion Newsletter – Sept.

Hello families of Countryside Child Care Center! As we enter a new “school year” we have a few reminders and updates:

*Please check your child’s folder each day to ensure that you do not miss any updates, reminders, projects or notices.

*If you received a notice for an updated physical or packet, please bring this information to the office ASAP.

***Please wear the color yellow on Thursday, September 15th to represent our color of the month.

In the infant room, the teachers are very excited about our new infant enrollments. Welcome baby Landen, Lochlan, Brailynn and Lyla!! As always, they will continue to spend time doing tummy time, reading stories, exploring new skills and doing daily projects!!

In the infant toddler room, the children will do hands on projects each day working on their sensory and fine motor skills. The themes the projects will follow are school time, all about me, five senses and Massachusetts!

In the toddler preschool rooms, the children will be doing a different project each day as well as completing portfolio work. Their projects will be based on the themes school time, all about me, five senses, and Massachusetts. Their portfolio work will focus on the letters A B C, number 1, color yellow, shape rectangle and skill line tracing!

In the preschool room, the class will complete a project each day focusing on the themes school time, all about me, five senses, and Massachusetts. Their portfolio work will focus on the letters A B C, number 1, color yellow, shape rectangle and skill line tracing! They will work on tracing their names each day as well!

In the pre-k classroom, the children will start practicing writing their names free handed as well as spelling their names out loud to the class! They will work on a project and portfolio sheet everyday as well. Their projects will be focused on the themes school time, all about me, five senses, and Massachusetts.
