Hello Countryside Child care Families. We have made it to December! We will continue our eye opportunity of learning, exploring and engaging with others as a group as well as meeting new friends and sharing. Being hands on with fun activities whether its sensory, engineering, math, or creative writing is part of the learning process here at Countryside as well as taking interest in activities with paint, gluing, cutting and coloring.
Below is a few reminders and special dates to take into consideration to refresh on what we do month to month and expectations Countryside entails.
Thursday, December 7th is Pizza Day!
Monday, December 18th CHRISTMAS Explosion Day! (Wear all your Christmas gear from your legs up!)
Tuesday, December 19th please wear some Festive socks!
Wednesdays, December 20th please wear the color Red
Thursday, December 21st will be Polar Express please have your child(ren)wear there Pjs as we will enjoy some choc milk, special treats and a movie
Friday, December 22nd please bring in your dancing shoes as we will be listening to some Holiday music throughout the day enjoying a lot of fun holiday activities.
If your child will be at Countryside later than 9:00AM please give us a call and let us know by 9:00AM.
o Please have your child in by 9:30 AM
Special Reminder: an important time of the day is in the morning where the children engage in circle time with one another. This is also the time for project and portfolio.
Please have them in early so they don’t miss out on these learning activities with their peers.
The themes for this month are Holidays around the world, Hibernation, England and Forest Animals. The portfolio work that they will be working on the number 4, letters JK and L. the color is red, the skill is big/ small and the shape is a star. The nursery Rhyme is I’m a little teapot!
