Hello Countryside Child Care Families and welcome to a new year of eye-opening opportunity of learning, exploring and engaging with others as a whole. Meeting new friends and learning to share. Being hands-on with fun activities whether its sensory, engineering, math, creative writing, healthy snacks and group opportunities. Taking interest in activities with painting, gluing, cutting, coloring and building. Learning to follow a structure routine with many transitions and being able to work and do things independently. Below is a few reminders and special dates to take into consideration to refresh on what we do month to month and the expectations Countryside entails.

Reminders and Special Dates Below
o IMPORTANT- Please make sure our child has an updated photo on kangaroo time
o Monday, September 5th we will be CLOSED due to Labor Day.
o Tuesday, September 6th please bring in a family photo so we can get our Countryside Families up!
o Thursday, September 8th is PIZZA Day!
o Tuesday, September 20th is our favorite day of the month. . . Pajama Day!
o Wednesday, September 28th please wear the color Yellow for color of the month.
o If your child comes in after 9:00AM, we ask for you to please call and let us know.
o It is very important your child comes in at or before 9:30AM as the curriculum and structure is focused in the morning.
o All topical ointments need to be signed for before using. If you have sunscreen, bug spray, chap stick, diaper cream etc. please make sure we know in the front foyer so we can have the correct paperwork filled out and signed for.
o Please keep all personal toys and stuffed animals at home.
o Necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches and open toed shoes are not to be worn for safety reasons.
o Please Label all belongings that are brought into the center.
The themes for each month are Back to school, All About Me, Medieval Times, Johnny Appleseed as well as Massachusetts. The Portfolio work will consist of the letters ABC, the number 1, the color yellow, and the skill with be line tracing. This month’s nursery rhyme will be the Wheels on the Bus.
